1st Stop: Old Folks Home, 2nd Stop:.....
My day starts like this...
7AM- Woke up, bathed, got ready, had breakfast and headed to school. The bus then left at 8AM. I didn't get enough rest though. Why you asked? Because I played 8-10 hours of continuous snooker. It was not the playing that made me sick, but the cigarette smell. I just could not find an effing snooker centre in Kuching which has a non-smoking environment.

Bus ride was boring prolly because I am half asleep. I was trying to get my hands "warmed up" as I have not touch my camera for 3 months straight. Cool huh?
When we arrived at the Lion's Nursing Home, the residents were having their breakfast. We all stood there really awkward, not knowing what to do or where to help out. This is where all those PR officers should really get their arse over here. A group of 25-30 students made it a bit of a hassle to move around. Everybody was waiting for one another to make a move. Finally they settled on helping the nurses push them old people out for some fresh air.

Some of them were then sent to the physiotherapy room. It was intriguing, although I had no idea what was physiotherapy to start with. Hah!

Physio-whatever it is... in progress!!!
Out of the 55 residents, mostly were already mentally affected but there are still a few really healthy and jovial ones.

This one in particular, is probably healthier than 70% of any other 60-year-old out there. My classmates were mingling with him as he enlighten us with some of the most memorable events of his life. I was busy taking photographs so don't ask me what was his story. =D
I shall skip all the other stuff that will make you bored(eg Date formed, no. of residents, T&C of admission, etc). If you would really like to know more about the nursing home just find me on MSN. I will be more than happy to answer all your questions.
Oh and the girls were cam-whoring outside the compound while waiting for the bus to arrive.

The more-fun-than-the-boring-part part
Then, a bunch of use headed to The Spring (The one and only mall that we could loiter around). There was this T-shirt which I was wearing. It says on the shirt "I AM A VIRGIN(This is an old T-shirt)" Yeah, the bracketed words were written in small. Everywhere I went, people were giving me that puzzled-tickled-obnoxious-wtf look. Its Malaysia. I cant really blame them for having such mentality. They just couldn't have a laugh at such lines.
We had our brunch at Sushi King. Our beloved and lucky Vivian Kon who won RM300 from a lucky draw I introduced her to decided to give us a treat.

Food was OK. I once dipped too much Wasabi and tears were rolling across my cheek non-stop.
Just before we finish counting the number of tiles the building had, we headed to Starbucks for a cup of something-I-ordered-but-wasn't-the-one-I-ordered.
Browsing through the shelf of magazines, we picked up Pet Lovers. Chit-chatted about non-important topics for half an hour.

Wendy was flipping through and saw this adorable picture of this kitten. Just look at the size of Vivian's eyes compared the kitten's!!
Just some shots before I left the place for my Chemistry tuition.
