i know i haven been blogging these 2-3 weeks coz of my studies. theres loads of things going on lately. Bad results. Actually i have lots of things to post up. These are a list of reviews i am gonna do:

Today, I got my Imation 1GB Clip flash drive. These are the below features taken from the Imation manufacturer website:

Imation is famous for its high quality blank CD-ROMS and DVD-ROMS. They are one of the best qualities in town that you can get.This flash drive comes with a 5 years limited warranty. They will replace a new flash drive if there is any defects found during purchase.

As stated, it comes with various capacity such as 1GB,2GB and 4GB. However, i only have the 1GB version in hand. When plugging in the flash drive, the auto run menu pops up just like any other flash drive out there. The flash drive comes with its own partition manager. Hence, if you wanna divide your flash drive into several partition, this will be the tool for you. There is also a password manager that enables you to set password to the flash drive to avoid unauthorized people looking through your file. If you do not need any of those features you can simply just delete off the files that are in the flash drive and Voala! There's your flash drive there ready for you to use.


When plugged into the USB port, a blue LED light will be on all time and will blink when data is being read/written.

What i think this one stands out from the rest is the design of the flash drive itself. it comes with a clip that enables you to cling your flash drive to anywhere you want. Besides that, the flash drive is also protected by a rubberized casing(the black part). With this, you can rest assure that your flash drive can withstand throws and accidental drops. Though there is a limit to it so please do not try to abuse it by trying it on a wall or dropping it from a 10 storey building. It was also stated in the manufacturer website that this flash drive is water-resistance when attached to the casing. I, however doubt the authenticity of this statement as i can still see a slight gap in between the flash drive and the casing. However i still think it is splash-proof if not water-proof.


You can also label the flash drive with the given label sticker and stick it at the back of the casing of easy identification in the future.
