Wordpress or Blogger?
My friend recommended me to use Wordpress as it was more versatile. Thus, i registered a blog there. Indeed, it gave the user more flexibility. The question is whether or not should i migrate over to Wordpress? I cant seem to make the choice yet. Even if i decided to migrate over, i will have to move all the posts one by one as most of my posts are pictures, which they don have a function for it. Let me have a word with my mentor (goldfires) and see what he says bout it. Be patient!! :)

Flickr PictoBrowser
I found a very nifty thing called the PictoBrowser. It is like a slideshow to display your pics like on my Regatta- Full Set of Photos. It is so convenient i no longer have to copy and paste link by link for each photos like my posts last time(eg Trip to Lundu. Besides, It also saves space!!! No more 36 photos at one go which makes page very messy.
However you guys may not know but the Picto Browser takes time to load from each photo to another. Because the lodaing bar is opaque and close to transparent dont assume that it is lagging or your browser is faulty. Please refer to the picture below:
Besides, another not-so-noticable thing about PictoBrowser is the pages of the slideshow. Viewers may miss the rest of the pages as the icon is very small. The pages are located at the bottom left of the PictoBrowser(refer to the picture below).
To get your own PictoBrowser, just click on the "info" button on any Pictobrowser
at the bottom left(refer to pic below).
Then, enter your Flickr account's username.
After that, you get to choose to display your photos according to tags, sets, or
in groups. It will generate a HTML code. Copy that code and paste it into your Myspace, Friendster, Blogger etc.
I hope this article has helped you discover a new nifty feature of Flickr. For more information please click here.

Pra PMR

Last whole week, my school (SMK Kuching High) which is under Zon A Kuching, had our mock exam for the upcoming PMR. A staggering 8 subjects. Malay, English, Chinese, Science, Mathematics, KHB, Geography and History. Thats why you see we malaysians get so smart.. LOL![]()
I cracked my head open for the history paper. Imagine 20 pages of freakin history questions!!!
One very intriguing thing in all public examination is that it encourages us to cheat. In every paper, on the bottom right of the page you will see this:
What it meant by "Lihat Sebelah" means look beside, which basically means look at your friends answer.LOL
Anyways, good luck to all students who are sitting for the SPM and PMR. Lets all make our parents proud!!

Photography workshop by SPAS
Last Sunday(September 9), SPAS(Sarawak Photo-Art Society) organized a workshop for students. I joined this one day event and it was an intriguing experience. The workshop was splitted into three sessions. The first and second sessions were about photography while the third session was about Canon's latest product and technologies. Speakers were Harry Tan, C. H. Loh and Teo from Canon.
The one without a vest is me(obviously) talking to experienced photograpy members from SPAS during the short break.
Overall the event was executed smoothly with minor flaws which are unavoidable. I am looking forward to join more photography workshops. If you guys have any enquiries on upcoming workshop or other events please click here.

China's military successfully hacked into the Pentagon's computer network
BEIJING (XFN-ASIA) - China's military successfully hacked into the Pentagon's computer network, the Financial Times reported, although the Chinese government dismissed the accusation as groundless.
The Chinese military's cyber-attack was carried out in June following months of efforts, the London-based newspaper said, citing unnamed current and former US officials.
While the Pentagon declined to say who was behind the hacking, which led to the shutdown of a computer system serving the office of Defense Secretary Robert Gates, officials told the paper it was China's People's Liberation Army.
'The PLA has demonstrated the ability to conduct attacks that disable our system,' the paper quoted a former US official as saying.
One senior US official reportedly said the Pentagon had pinpointed the exact origin of the attack.
The paper quoted another person familiar with the event as saying there was a 'very high level of confidence... trending towards total certainty' that the PLA was responsible.
While denying the accusations, Chinese foreign ministry spokeswoman Jiang Yu countered that there were some in the US who were seeking to damage improving Sino-US military relations.
'Against the background of good momentum towards the improvement of Sino-US military ties, some people are making groundless accusations that the Chinese military is attacking the networks of the US defence department,' Jiang told journalists when asked about the Financial Times' report.
'This is not only groundless but a demonstration of a Cold War mentality.'
A spokesman for the Chinese defence ministry declined to comment on the report when contacted by Agence France-Presse.
Reports of China hacking into German government systems were also raised last week between Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao and visiting German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
